Dubai family visa procedure
The family visa is required for the family members of the overseas employee. On the behalf of this family visa the family members enter and reside in these Emirates. The family visa is applied from the employee on the related family visa application Form. The visa application form also require covering letter and submitted in GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs, Dubai). In this visa application the overseas employee request entry visa for his family members like spouse, kids and parents. Once the application is approved for this visa, then the employee visit authorized typing center for filling out application form and pay visa processing fee. This family entry visa dispatched to family on postal address.
The family can enter in Dubai within two months after releasing this entry visa. The overseas family fulfill medical requirement, arrange ID card and stamps visas. If the visa is not used within due time, then it needs to deposit new visa processing fee and visa will renewed. The family entry visa validity is for two years, but one month is an extra as grace period. The visa renewal should be prior to expiry and it needs fresh medical examination. The visit of typing center at the Immigration Department is compulsory with all supporting documents including family member’s passports. The visa processing fee deposits in concerned bank branch according to the latest fee structure. However, all necessary documents are needed to submit for this process. The applicant submits all concerned documents and it will take minimum 15 days to process.

- The employee will provide ID card, labor card and tenancy contract copy.
- Marriage certificate duly verified from the origin country.
- Passport copies of all applicants and sponsor.
- Physical fitness certificate from the nominated hospital.
- Fresh passport sized color pictures of the applicants.
